Aamir Khan in "Ghajini"
“Ghajini” is A.R.Murugadoss’s Bollywood Directorial Debut film. This movie is actually a remake of the Hollywood movie “Memento”. The director has taken this movie in three different languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. All the three seems to hit the Box office.
Ghajini – Casts
Surya and Asin play the lead roles in the tamil version. Director A.R.Murugadoss has chosen the most talented Bollywood actor “Aamir Khan” to play the role of the rich businessman ”Sanjay Singhania” for the hindi version. Aamir had put his heart and soul in bringing his body to a great shape with six packs. Asin takes the leading female role in this movie.
The Love line of the Story
This movie starts with a thrilling revenge attitude portrayed by the character (Sanjay Singhania) when his girl is being murdered in front of his eyes. This shock leaves him with short term memory loss. The director then switches between the present and the past life of Sanjay Singhania (Aamir) with a terrific screenplay and camera tactics by Ravi K Chandran.
Asin’s (Kalpana) death and the helpless situation of Aamir (Sanjay) struggling to save his lady love really moved every audience. Hat’s off to Murugadoss who has given a wonderful performance in this movie. Though everything fell in place for the hindi version, some felt apart from taking efforts in building a six pack, Aamir forgot his emotions and expressions in this movie which was quite a concern afterall. Aamir couldn’t put up a show to the expected level as compared to Surya’s performance in tamil, that had a distinct difference in the two characters. Whereas, Aamir gave the same expressions in both life of Sanjay Singhania(which shouldn’t be the case).
Apart from that, everything else was just perfect for this Revenge thriller.
