2012 - Are you prepared for this???
From the makers of all the three distruction and disaster movies like “Independence Day”, “Godzilla” and “The Day After Tomorrow”, Roland Emmerich has now come up with his new and a distruction of all the disaster movies he has taken so far is “2012″.
Columbia Pictures Presents 2012 – “We Were Warned”
2012 – “We were Warned” goes the tagline of the movie that fits in perfectly for this concept. This movie started it’s shooting way back in August 2008 and is scheduled to released on 13th November 2009. 2012 is all about the ancient “Mayan calendar” which predicted the world’s doomsday event somewhere at the end of 2012. This event will put an end to the existence of the world. The whole plot revolves around this concept.
Now this kinda movie is not a new concept for Roland Emmerich. The Director has tried it all in his previous disaster films. But I bet, this one’s the biggest disaster of all his works so far.
Starring Hollywood’s action star John Cusack, who plays the lead role in 2012 accompanied with other co-stars are Amanda Peet, Thandie Newton, Danny Glover, Oliver Platt, Woody Harrelson and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
