A Glimpse of CIFW

Celebrities walk the ramp for the biggest event held in Chennai – CIFW (Chennai International Fashion Week). Almost 60 models all over the country participated in this event to showcase the creations of nearly 30 designers from 10 countries.

All gathered at one platform in this event of CIFW.Celebrities from all over the country was part of this event displaying the creations of the 30 acclaimed designers all over the country.

Actress Genelia walk the ramp for Ishita

Some of the best collections were designed by Sanjana Jon and displayed by Actress Kushbhu, Genelia displaying Ishita Singh’s collections, Sneha displaying Archana Kochar’s collection, Actress Namita along with Bollywood Star Nithin Mukesh walked the ramp for  Sidney Sladen.

Actress Tamannaah for Nishka Lulla’s creations. Kollywood’s Action hero Arjun along with his daughter Aishwarya dazzled in a black outfit displaying the collections of Sanjana Jon.

Pooja Rajvanshi, a well known designer from Jaipur was pleased with the overwhelming response she had received from the Chennai International Fashion Week in displaying her exclusive collections.

The CIFW event ended here on December 20, 2009 that displayed around 1,500 outfits that was designed especially for this event.

Akshay Kumar with his wife Twinkle

Bollywood Actor, Akshay Kumar who is well known as “Khiladi” turns 42 on September 9^th. He says he is one of luckiest person to be born on this day especially 2009 had made it special for him as the number nine is his lucky one and this day is supposed to be unique too.

Let me tell you how number nine had an impact in his life. It seems Akshay’s son, sister and sister’s daughter and of course the khiladi himself was born in the month of September – the ninth month. That’s not all. The secret doesn’t end here, more to go…  Akshay’s parent’s wedding has also fallen in the ninth month. The first and the last house he bought all falls in the same month. And even the car numbers.

I guess then the number nine is indeed a very lucky one for Akshay Kumar. He also reveals his Birthday resolutions that he wishes to spend time with his wife twinkle and his Son Araav. But twinkle had planned for a quite party at home especially to suite his taste inviting few of their friends and family.

Now that’s like a family man and in fact a sweet resolution.

"Michael Jackson" - The King Of Pops

Michael Jackson born on August 29, 1958 faced a tragic death which shook the world. He started his solo career way back in 1971 and now popularly known as “King of Pops”.

On June 25th, Michael Jacksons’s tragic death story was indeed a shocking news for Michael Jackson’s entire fans globally. Just before his death, Jackson suffered from a cardiac arrest that choked him to death at his home in Los Angeles, California. At Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, he was announced dead after much struggle.

Conrad Murray, Jackson’s personal physician said that he was found lying in his home with no pulse rate and almost stopped breathing. He had immediately performed CPR but all in vain.

Though he was dead, a certain amount of doubt had triggered in everyone’s mind whether it was a murder attempt. On August 28th, it so happened that the Los Angeles County Coroner announced that Michael’s death was a Homicide as expected.

His death had created a sudden increase in demand for his music collections all over the world in internet and by all means. Everyone started listening to his collections as medium of paying a tribute to him.
